Alex and Katie were married on Friday, November 20th at the Old Dobbin Station in Montgomery, Texas! In front of family and friends, the biggest gathering since COVID hit, it was a joyous celebration. The perfect fall weather was just warm and dry enough to get great photos outside! Something that is often hit or miss here in Texas during November. This venue was absolutely incredible, a renovated train station turned wedding venue, while keeping the historic charm and industrial feel. The exposed concrete and brick ceremony space was beautiful as is, but paired with pops of color in the flowers really brought it to life.
While you scroll through the images of the day, you’ll find some very precious pieces of the day. Especially the coin that Katie’s grandpa carried with him while serving in war, his good luck three pence. Katie wore this in her shoe During the wedding day!
A few joyful tears were shed during the first look but not before some good laughs when Katie’s brother snuck in his mothers wedding dress and tricked Alex for the first look. We all couldn’t stop laughing at Alex’s reaction.
I am so thankful for the honor to document this day for Alex, Katie and their families. Take a peek into their wedding day with the images below!
xoxo,
Mandy
